Farms and businesses

Farms and businesses have their own grants

The home grant is for homes. Farms use TAMS 3, which pays 60% towards solar with its own €90,000 investment ceiling, and batteries qualify (The Irish Field, 3 Mar 2023). Businesses, from shops to guesthouses run as a business, use SEAI's business grant: €1,800 for 1kWp up to €4,800 for 4 to 6kWp (SEAI business solar grant).
